sharad kotak: This is to inform you that PTST feature will remain disabled on Friday September 30, 2011. Shares purchased on September 28 and 29, 2011 will not be available for selling on September 30, 2011,in both the Exchanges (i.e. NSE & BSE), due to Half yearly bank closing on September 30, 2011. However, kindly note that this is not a trading holiday and the Exchanges will remain open for trading.
Trades executed on September 28, 2011 will be settled on October 3rd, 2011 and the trades executed on September 29 and 30, 2011 will be settled on October 4th, 2011 in both Exchanges (i.e. NSE & BSE)

At the end of the week, indices were down heavily. There exists lot of reasons well known being ADG group under radar of CBI…

After 08-08-2011, Nifty has never tested 5200 mark.
Fiscal Deficit :
On account of Lower Export and Huge Import Bill, Fiscal Deficit reached 66.3 % of the budgeted estimates during first 5 months. Current Financial target was set to 4.6 %.
The deficit for five months – April-August was INR 2.73 Trillion.
The Difference between expenditure and revenue was seen
Substantially lower at 39.7 % of the annual target compared to same period of last Year. This we term as Fiscal deficit. The UPA Government has
pegged the 2011-2012 Fiscal deficit to the tune of 4.6 % of the GDP ( Gross
Domestic Product).curtailing target by .5 % compared to last year’s actual being 5.1 %. However, spending tend to be lumpy due to higher import bills and lacking Export acceleration due to slow down across Europe and USA.
We may remember quote of RBI on the Fiscal deficit front in context to
its endeavour to curb inflation, “ Fiscal consolidation also needed to control inflation and that monetary measures would not be sufficient to bring down inflation to acceptable levels.”
We may remember here that RBI has raised key interest rates by 3.5 %
Post last March.
Commodity Market :
Commodities log biggest quarterly drop since 2008 on concerned global slowing down and worries about Greek default. One more factor added fuel to concern was Chines manufacturing shrank for third consecutive month, the longest contraction since 2009.
Industrial Production figures of Japan seen below forecasted levels. US
Consumer spending data are to be released today which may show lower than expected as per the experts.
European inflation quickened to the fastest in almost three years this month. German sales fell the most in more than four years. Analysts and economists fear that European debt crisis will weighting on all the risky assets for next couple of months. Crude is likely to fall below $ 80 / bbl in
Next few weeks due to concern that European economy is showing signs of slowdown as governments struggle to contain their Fiscal crisis and avert a “Greek Default” .
Though, Gold show gain of 8.2 % week to week trading at $1620 / ounce
And silver trading at $30.5 and ounce , we feel that it may correct further
In days to come. Nickel dropped 22 % during the quarter at LME, while Copper slashed 24 % during the quarter due to low demand from China.
Currency :
USD / Rupee trading 48.97 and expected to test 52.60 in few weeks.
December forward contact was last traded 59.5350 at mcxsx with spread 0.0425 yesterday.
Euro / Rupee 65.96 and expected to show more weakness in next few weeks.
